Baghdad International Theatre Festival receives as standing ovation amid remarkable audience

(UTV | IRAQ) – Following the opening of the second Baghdad International Theatre Festival, Jordan’s theatrical-rituals band participated in the well-attended event by performing a brilliant play that reflected the women’s reality in the community, which was directed by Iyad Al-Raymouni.

The event was marked with a distinguished audience and the participation of the Jordanian delegation along with Arab and Iraqi artists, deeming the event a well-awaited cultural comeback for art and tourism from all over the world, adding that the theatre was brought to life again as it became a destination for artists who were craving to be part of upcoming festivals.
