(UTV | COLOMBO) – Suriya to play a dual role after ten years in Bala’s directorial

Suriya is one of the hard-working actors in the South, and he attempts to do challenging roles with each of his films. Now, the latest report is that Suriya will play a dual role in Bala’s directorial. Suriya has reunited with director Bala after a long time, and the film has been launched officially. Initially, Suriya was planning to produce the film with Arya and Atharvaa in lead roles however both the actors have reportedly stepped out from the film due to prior commitments, and Suriya will be now playing a dual role.

Suriya last played a dual role in KV Anand’s ‘Maattrraan’ in 2012, and the actor will be seen in a double role after ten years. Suriya is reportedly playing a dual role as an elderly father and his son, and it’s going to be the actor’s seventh film in which he will be portraying two characters. Suriya had earlier worked under Bala’s direction the films ‘Nandha’ and ‘Pithamagan’, and his new film marks his third film with the director. The cast and crew selection for the film is on, and the makers will be coming up with an official announcement soon before the film hits the floor.
