Cambodian artists keen to return to work after struggling with COVID lockdowns

(UTV | CAMBODIA) – The Cambodian government announced the re-launch of the tourism industry after a pause for nearly 2 years, which is considered an opportunity for painters and art traders to overcome the stagnation period that accompanied the lockdown due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, forcing many of them to engage in jobs far from their talent to secure their livelihood.

Several artists and art traders expressed their hope that life would return to what it was before the pandemic.
