Legal action against those who sell cement at high prices

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Due to the shortage of cement in the market, many crises have been created in the construction sector.

It is reported that some outlets are restricting the amount of cement that can be purchased by a consumer.

Reports also note that the price of a bag of cement is currently over Rs. 1200.

However, the Consumer Affairs Authority has launched raids to take legal action against traders who sell cement at higher prices.
