(UTV | COLOMBO) – Dr. JD Mannapperuma has stepped down as the Chairman of the Paddy Marketing Board.
He has cited personal reasons for his decision to step down.
Mannapperuma has stated that the implementation of certain decisions by the management, was ill-advised and therefore decided to resign from his post.
He added Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage was also informed of resignation.
