Escape of Gilboa prisoners was planned

(UTV | JORDAN) – Jordanian prisoners released from Israeli jails stated that the escape of six Palestinians from the high-security Gilboa prison was planned before since at least three of them previously attempted escape.

According to Israeli media; a day before the plan was executed, Zakaria al-Zubaidi, the eldest prisoner of the fugitive group, requested to be transferred to the cell where the other five detainees were, adding that the request was approved without raising any questions.

Gilboa prison is located about four kilometers from the border with the West Bank, and it is the most fortified prison in Israel, where the authorities hold Palestinians convicted or suspected of anti-Israel activities, according to its description.
