High drowning accidents along rivers and lakes in Mongolia [VIDEO]

(UTV | MONGOLIA) – The accidents of drowning people, especially children, have recently increased along rivers and lakes in the countryside, which citizens often go to on holidays and festivals.

By 2021, about 74 water emergency calls were recorded nationwide, which resulted in the death of 86 people who drowned, including 19 children. Rescuers attributed the main cause of drowning accidents to non-standard inflatable boats and floats in the rivers, in addition to the lack of supervision of some parents on their children.
