Dan Brown’s “Lost Symbol” Series sets date

Peacock has announced a September 16th premiere date for their “Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol” series. Episodes will air weekly via the streamer.

This is an adaption of the third of the five novels in Brown’s book series about Harvard religious symbologist Robert Langdon. Tom Hanks famously played the character in three films based on the first two and fourth books in the series.

The series follows the early adventures of young Langdon (Ashley Zukerman) who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a global conspiracy.

Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp co-star while Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie will serve as writers and executive producers. Dan Trachtenberg directed the pilot.

The date was revealed yesterday via a puzzle hidden within The New York Times.
