(UTV | COLOMBO) – Seven Senior Deputy Inspector Generals of Police and a Deputy Inspector General of Police have been issued transfers effective immediately, based on service requirements.
The Police Headquarters said the DIG in charge of the North Central Province, Nandana Munasinghe was transferred as the Senior DIG of Administration while Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana was transferred as the officer in charge of the Crimes and Motor Traffic Division and Senior DIG Lalith Pathinayaka was appointed as the Senior DIG in charge of the Community Police.
Kithsiri Jayalath was appointed as the Senior DIG in charge of the Northern Province.
Ranmal Kodithuwakku was appointed the Senior DIG in charge of the Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces while M Dharmaratne was appointed as the Senior DIG in charge of the North West and North Central Provnices.
