X-Press Pearl owners to pay Rs. 720 million compensation for fishermen

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The owners of the X-Press Pearl have agreed to pay a compensation to fishing community affected by the fire erupted in the Vessel.

The owners of fire-ravaged Vessel have agreed on the payment of Rs. 720 million as interim compensation for the fishing community affected by the disaster, the Minister of Justice Ali Sabri said.
