US delivers vital food aid to Lankan children

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The United States (US) has delivered vital food aid to over 100,000 Sri Lankan children, the US Embassy in Colombo stated today (25).

The Embassy stressed that on 21 June, a first group of approximately 110,000 students from 887 primary schools in Badulla, Kilinochchi, Monaragala, Mullaitivu, Nuwara Eliya, Ratnapura, and Trincomalee and their families received a delivery of vital food aid funded by the US.
