Death toll from adverse weather rises to 20

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The death toll due the adverse weather conditions rose to 20 with over 176,000 people affected, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated.

According to the DMC, the victims include 5 from Gampaha, 4 in Kalutara, 3 in Kegalle, 2 in Kurunegala, and 6 from Ratnapura.

The DMC added that 176,419 people have been affected by the adverse weather conditions thus far.
