(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Government has approved to provide a fixed allowance, ‘Guru Abhimani’ after a certain training given for preschool teachers.
Accordingly, it is learnt that it is suitable to increase the existing allowance of Rs.250/= to Rs.2500/= under identified criteria, effective from today.
Allowance will be provided to 25,000 pre-school teachers as the first phase.
