(UTV | COLOMBO) – The various major movie theater chains in the United States are easing their COVID-19 protocols and will allow fully vaccinated patrons to enter AMC, Cinemark and Regal cinemas without wearing face coverings.
That change in policy comes with the stipulation that masks will still be required for all customers if mandated by state or local ordinances. For example Los Angeles, the country’s largest moviegoing market, still requires them.
All other aspects of the various cinema policies and procedures such as seat blocking remain in place at this time. The change comes with the arrival of “A Quiet Place Part II” and “Cruella” in cinemas over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
