(UTV | COLOMBO) – Moratuwa Mayor Samanlal Fernando who was arrested this morning for allegedly threatening a female doctor and obstructing duties of officials, has been remanded till June 11 by the Moratuwa Magistrate today.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said the Mayor was arrested this morning after he surrendered to the Mount Lavinia Police.
