(UTV | COLOMBO) – Minister Chamal Rajapaksa has requested Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi and Director General of Health Services Specialist Dr. Asela Gunawardena to give priority to the staff working in District and Divisional Secretariats and field officers including Grama Niladharis in administering the next phase of vaccination.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Secretary to the President and the Senior Adviser to the President Lalith Weeratunga have already paid close attention to this matter and it has been confirmed that the next phase of vaccination will cover all of them, Ministry Secretary H.M. Chithrananda has informed all relevant trade unions.
Therefore, the Secretary urges the trade unions not to resort to trade union action at this time but to provide the required services to the public efficiently.
