NMRA awaits WHO clearance for Sinopharm Vaccine

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) stated it would consider regulatory clearance of the China’s Sinopharm Vaccine only after its listing for emergency use by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The Daily Mirror quoted NMRA Chairman Dr. Rasitha Wijewantha adding that his Office is awaiting the emergency listing of the Vaccine by the WHO.
