(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Coronavirus may have become airborne in Sri Lanka, as similar symptoms detected in several other countries.
The Daily Mirror quoted sources within the Ministry of Health stating that the virus could be airborne from patients, especially when ventilation is poor.
The Lancet, the highest medical journal in the world, stated that the airborne spread of Coronavirus is not only likely but probably the dominant route of transmission.
“There is consistent, strong evidence that SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus) spreads by airborne transmission,” writes the researchers.
