Remains of a person with gunshot injuries arrived from Italy

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The remains of a person with suspected gunshot injuries has been brought to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake via a Turkish Airlines Flight.

The victim is believed to be of a 32-year-old resident of Nedungamuwa, Gampaha and was employed in Aprilia, Italy.

Katunayake Police is conducting investigations into the incident.
