Over 9,000 tourists here since reopening of airports

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A total of 9,629 tourists have arrived in the country since the reopening of airports on 21 January, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) stated.

Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga said that an increase of tourists is expected this year with the curbing of the pandemic.

He added that discussions were underway with Diplomatic Missions regarding the matter
