Sputnik V to arrive in the first 2 weeks of April

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A stock of Russia’s Sputnik V COVID-vaccines will be delivered to Sri Lanka within the first 2 weeks of April, the State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Professor Channa Jayasumana said.

The Government has taken necessary steps to bring 500,000 doses of the Sputnik V COVID-vaccines at each time.

Sri Lanka’s Cabinet of Ministers recently gave the nod to purchase seven million doses of the Sputnik V COVID-vaccines at a cost of USD 69.65 million.
