If you’re in a movie and Vin Diesel offers you a ride – it’s probably better not to take it.
According to a study by the UK’s Car Scrap Comparison website (via Vin Diesel, they have dubbed the “Fast and Furious” star the Most Dangerous Driver onscreen in Hollywood action movies.
Diesel has reportedly smashed a grand total of 61 cars, with 57 of them taking place while he was behind the wheel and “Fast Five” as the film with the most automotive destruction – 30 in total.
That comes just ahead of Bruce Willis in second place with 60, though he was only behind the wheel for 35 of them. Half of his smashes all came from one film – “A Good Day to Die Hard”.
To put things in comparison, Diesel’s ‘Furious’ franchise co-stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham tied for tenth place with 18 vehicles each.
Also making the list were Arnold Schwarzenegger (52 total/30 he was driving), Matt Damon (35/11), Keanu Reeves (30/21), Tom Hardy (29/2), Daniel Craig (24/20), Nicolas Cage (22/12) and Tom Cruise (19/12).
“Transformers: The Dark of the Moon” and “The Matrix Reloaded” were listed as the films with the most vehicular carnage.
