Ranjan’s visitation privileges temporarily suspended

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Prisons Department has stated that imprisoned Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake will not be allowed to receive any visitors for the next 2-weeks.

The decision was taken after Ramanayake pleaded guilty for the offence of taking a selfie with one of his visitors at the Angunukolapalassa Prison.

The Jailor who allowed the Parliamentarian Harshana Rajakaruna to take a selfie with featuring Ramanayake, has since been interdicted.

Rajapakaruna had visited Ramanayake at the Angunukolapelessa Prison on Monday (08).
