Sri Lanka to begin vaccination of over 60-years-old citizens from today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccines provided under the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s COVAX Facility will be administered on citizens above 60-years-of-age from today (08).

Sri Lanka received 264,000 doses of COVID-19 Vaccines from the COVAX Facility to the Ministry of Health yesterday (07).

The UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) delivered the first shipment of 264,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine provided to Sri Lanka under the WHO’s COVAX Facility.
