Over 3,800 tourists here after Jan. 21

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said that 3,820 tourists have arrived the country so far since the reopening of airports from January 21.

Most of them are Ukrainian nationals and the total number of them are 1,374.

In addition, 626 tourists from Kazakhstan and 443 tourists from India have arrived in Sri Lanka.

The Minister further said Jazeera Airways and Gulf Air have decided to commence direct flights to Sri Lanka shortly while flights belonging to Air Arabia, flydubai and Salam Air are already operational to Sri Lanka.
