WP : 213 institutions violating regulations

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Police say 213 state and private sector institutions have been identified in the Western Province yesterday, which have not been adhering to quarantine rules and regulations imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said of 1,311 institutions inspected by Police and Health authorities personnel yesterday, 1,098 were found to be violating health safety guidelines, adding accordingly legal action will be taken against heads of said state and private sector institutions.
