Gazette issued banning hand sanitizers not registered with NMRA

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Consumer Affairs Authority will ban hand sanitizers that are not registered with National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA) with effect from 1 February.

The Consumer Affairs Authority, in a gazette notification issued on Thursday banned importing, manufacturing, distributing or trading of hand sanitizers unless they registererd with the NMRA.
