Violating Quarantine Rules : 1,829 nabbed since 30 Oct

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Police say 1,829 individuals have been arrested since the 30th of October for violating quarantine regulations.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Ajith Rohana said the suspects were arrested for failing to wear face masks and not maintaining social distancing.

The Police Media Spokesman said 35 suspects were arrested over the offences during a 24 hours period yesterday.
