Lankans returns from Australia, Japan, Qatar

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another group of expatriates from Australia, Japan, and Qatar were brought to the island this morning (11), the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) stated.

Accordingly, 79 from Australia, 12 from Japan, and 46 Qatar are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by Tri-Forces for necessary quarantine process.

All returnees have been subjected to Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Tests at the airport premises.

Meanwhile, 30 from China, 64 from Italy, 4 from Malaysia, 40 from Maldives, 70 from United Kingdom (UK), and are expected to arrive in the country within the day.
