Manganiello’s Deathstroke returns in “League”

Joe Manganiello is reportedly set to reprise his role as Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke, in the reshoots being conducted for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” for HBO Max says Collider.

The actor had only a brief appearance during the post-credits scene in 2017’s “Justice League” and his return here suggests a potentially much larger role for the character – same goes for Jared Leto who will be returning to the role of The Joker from “Suicide Squad”.

The budget for the new ‘League’ has risen and will reportedly now cost around $70 million in order to properly finish the editing and visual effects as well as the additional photography.

Original post-production crew is also expected to return along with the cast members to record additional dialogue for the cut. The new take will be released as four one-hour parts initially followed by one four-hour film.

Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard are also confirmed to be a part of the reshoots that are currently underway.
