(UTV | COLOMBO) – A suspect has been arrested in possession of a stock of counterfeit Rs.5,000 notes, in Nisaruwa, Ududumbara.
Police said the suspect was apprehended with 39 such counterfeit bank notes and eight mobile phones.
The suspect is a 39-year-old resident of Ududumbara.
The Police Media Unit said the suspect will be handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department for further investigations.
