(UTV | COLOMBO) – Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane today announced the names of the new members who were appointed to the Committee On Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Committee On Public Accounts (COPA).
Accordingly, Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Rohitha Abeygunawardane, Susil Premajayantha, Jayantha Samaraweera, Dilum Amunugama, Indika Anuruddha Herath, Sarath Weerasekara, D. V. Chanaka, Nalaka Godahewa, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, MPs Rauff Hakeem, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Jagath Pushpakumara, Eran Wickramaratne, Ranjan Ramanayake, Nalin Bandara, S.M. Marikkar, Premnath C. Dolawatte, Charitha Herath and Shanakiya Rajaputhran Rasamanickam were appointed to the COPE.
Ministers Udhaya Gammanpila, Duminda Dissanayake, Dayasiri Jayasekara, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Sudarshani Fernandopulle, Shehan Semasinghe, Prasanna Ranaweera and MPs Tissa Attanayake, Tissa Vitharana, Harin Fernando, Niroshan Perera, Faizal Cassim, Ashok Abeysinghe, Buddhika Pathirana, Cadar Mastan, S. Sridaran, Upul Galappatti, B.Y.G. Ratnasekara, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, Ranjith Bandara, Mohammed Muzammil and Harini Amarasuriya were appointed to the COPA.
MPs Sarath Weerasekara, Nalaka Godahewa, Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Premnath C. Dolawatte, Charitha Herath and Shanakiya Rajaputhran Rasamanickam were among the new MPs appointed to the COPE while Upul Galappatti, B.Y.G. Ratnasekara, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, Ranjith Bandara, Mohammed Muzammil and Harini Amarasuriya were appointed to the COPA as new members.
