UTV | COLOMBO – A total of 1,519 PCR tests have been carried-out in the country yesterday to detect COVID-19 patients.
The Ministry of Health said accordingly, the number of PCR tests conducted in Sri Lanka so far has risen to 174,491.
Sri Lanka has been conducting PCR tests to identify COVID-19 cases since the 18th of February.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases reported in the country rose to 2,871 after 27 persons tested positive for the virus yesterday.
