UTV | COLOMBO – Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says the Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Alliance is seeking a two thirds majority in Parliament in order to abolish unfavourable agreements and draft bills in the country.
Speaking to media in Gampaha the Minister said unfavourable agreements and draft bills that were signed during the term of the good governance government must definitely be abolished.
He charged that several harmful foreign agreements were signed adding that such agreements are an obstruction in implementing President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s ‘Saubhagyaye Dekma’ policies.
Minister Ranatunga added the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, must be amended in order to ensure all communities of all ethnicities can live respectably.
Minister Ranatunga charged that the country’s economy has weakened drastically during the past four years.
