185 Lankans repatriated from the Maldives

UTV | COLOMBO -185 Sri Lankans stranded in the Maldives, owing to travel restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus, arrived in the island today.

A majority among the group were engaged in employment in the hotel trade.

The group arrived in the island around 11:30 this morning on board SriLankan Airlines flight UL-102.

Our airport correspondent said the group was subject to PCR tests at the new laboratory that was set up at the Bandaranaike International Airport last week.
