(UTV | COLOMBO) – An individual has gone missing after an engaged couple slipped and fell down the Sera Ella falls in Laggala during a photo shoot.
Laggala Police said the woman was rescued by another group.
The missing individual is a 27-year-old resident of Kurunegala.
The couple were due to get married next month and had visited several areas including Riverston, Laggala with their parents for a photo shoot.
Police said the couple had slipped down the Sera Ella falls but the female was rescued by an individual in the area who was able to dive.
Search operations are being carried out for the missing individual after Navy divers arrived this morning.
