826 Navy personnel recover from COVID-19

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another three Navy personnel who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals.

Accordingly, the number of Navy personnel who recovered from COVID-19 has increased to 826.

All Navy personnel who have been discharged from hospital are required to undergo another 14-day quarantine period under health guidelines as a precautionary measure.

The total number of coronavirus cases confirmed in the country rose to 2,037, after four new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country, yesterday.

904 Navy personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country thus far, while 747 persons who returned from overseas recently have also contracted the novel coronavirus in Sri Lanka.
