(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage says he will present all match fixing evidence in written form to the International Cricket Council via e-mail today.
Speaking at a rally in Kandy, Aluthgamage said the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit has inquired him of his statement via a phone call last night.
He stressed that Sri Lanka was unable to win the 2011 World Cup final against India despite having many skilled players, because of several traitors.
The Former Sports Minister stressed that such traitors must be dealt with by the law.
He revealed he made a statement to the Police Special Investigations Unit as well.
Aluthgamage stressed that an investigation will be conducted in this regard both locally and by a foreign entity.
