(UTV | COVID-19) – The number of coronavirus recoveries in the country rose to 1,472 after 26 individuals who contracted the virus were discharged today (20).
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 14 persons were discharged from the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, four from the Kattankudy Base Hospital, and two each from the Welikanda Base Hospital, Minuwangoda Hospital, Hambantota Hospital and Teldeniya Hospital.
467 individuals who tested positive for the virus are presently receiving treatment.
The number of infections in the country stands at 1,950.
Three persons tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
39 individuals are presently under observation on suspicions of having contracted the coronavirus.
