15-hour water cut in some parts of Colombo today

(UTV | COLOMBO) – A 15-hour water cut will be enforced in several areas in the Colombo District from 9 this morning.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the water cut will be in effect in Slave Island, Colpetty, Cinnamon Gardens, Borella and Maradana.

Meanwhile, residents of Colombo Fort will receive water at a low pressure.

The Water Board attributed the disruption to upgrades made to the water supply lines, in line with the Colombo City development project initiated by the Colombo Municipal Council.
