Navy COVID-19 recoveries increase to 283

(UTV | COLOMBO) -Another 33 Navy personnel who contracted COVID-19 have been discharged from hospitals after making complete recoveries.

Navy Media Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Sooriyabandara said 283 Navy personnel who tested positive have recovered and have been discharged thus far.

22 among them were being treated at the Navy General Hospital, six at the Colombo East Base Hospital, four at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases and another at the Welikanda Hospital.

The Sri Lanka Navy said the discharged Navy personnel were directed to remain in quarantine for another 14 days.
