Nine navy men among 10 COVID-19 cases confirmed yesterday

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka confirmed a total of 10 positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday (15) night.

Out of these cases, 9 were detected from Sri Lanka Navy, says the Commander of Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

The remaining case has been identified as a relative of a navy person.

With the detection of these coronavirus patients, the total count of positive cases moved up to 935.

Meanwhile, the number of patients who recovered from the disease has reached 477.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, 449 active cases are currently under medical care at the IDH Hospital, Welikanda Base Hospital, Colombo East Base Hospital, Iranawila Hospital, Kattankudy Base Hospital, Navy Hospital and Homagama Base Hospital
