“The Batman,” “Sopranos” prequel delayed months

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Not unexpectedly, some of Warners Bros, Pictures 2021 titles are being shuffled down the line due to the shakes up in their 2020 dates.

Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson was supposed to debut June 25th 2021. It will now open October 1st 2021.

Next up, “The Sopranos” prequel film “The Many Saints of Newark” has been delayed by six months from September 25th this year to March 12th 2021.

The Will Smith-led “King Richard” has suffered the biggest delay, being pushed back a full year to November 19th 2021. Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” film meanwhile has only been delayed a month and will now open November 5th 2021.

Then there’s the “Shazam” sequel which has been pushed from April 1st 2022 to November 4th 2022, and “The Flash” which has actually been moved up from July 1st 2022 to June 3rd 2022.
