“Parasite” breaks Hulu viewing records

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Bong Joon Ho’s Oscar-winning “Parasite” has been a massive success on streaming.

Making its debut on Hulu just a week ago, the streamer has announced that not only is it one of the most popular films to debut on the streaming service this year, it’s actually its second most-watched film of all time – surpassing the lifetime viewing of almost everything else after just one week.

In addition, the South Korean film has also become Hulu’s most-watched independent film and foreign-language film. Later this year, Bong Joon Ho’s film will join the Criterion Collection with a special edition release expected to arrive on Blu-ray alongside a remaster of Bong’s “Memories of Murder”/
