Party leaders to discuss COVID-19 crisis tomorrow

Leaders of political parties are scheduled to meet once again to discuss the present situation in the country.

The meeting will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, and is slated to get underway at 10am tomorrow at the Temple Trees.

Party Leaders will be given a detailed account on the measures taken by the government to mitigate the COVID-19 crisis.

All leaders of political parties that represented the last Parliament met for a round of discussions last month after the number of COVID-19 cases increased steeply.

The Office of the Prime Minister said a number of topics will be deliberated during tomorrow’s meeting.
