Visit eye hospital only for essential services: Director

(UTV|COLOMBO) – National Eye Hospital has advised People not to visit the hospital, except for essential services such as accidents and clinical attention etc. due to the threat posed by COVID-19 outbreak.

Hospital Director Dr. W.L.L.U.C. Kumarathilake said about 3000 people visit the hospital daily and that the gathering of such a large number of people to a single location could pose a potential threat in spreading the dreaded virus.
