(UTV|COLOMBO) – A motorcyclist has died while two other persons, a passenger travelling on the bike and a young girl have been grievously injured in an accident when a motor bike and jeep collided along the Puttalam-Trincomalee road in Ranpathwila.
Police said the injured duo have been transferred to the Anuradhapura hospital for further treatment.
A suspect has been arrested over the incident and is currently receiving treatment at the Anuradhapura Hospital under police protection.
The 35 year old deceased is a resident of Kahata-gasdigiliya.
