(UTV|COLOMBO) – United National Party (UNP) Parliamentary Group has nominated MP Gayantha Karunathilake as the Chief Opposition Whip in Parliament.
Meanwhile, the Government Parliamentary Group has nominated Minister Dinesh Gunawardena as Leader of the House and Minister Johnston Fernando as the Chief Government Whip.
The Ceremonial Opening of the Fourth Session of the Eighth Parliament by the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be held at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow (Jan. 03).
