(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Parliament sittings were adjourned today (06) following a tense situation.
The situation arose when the Joint Opposition raised objections to the time allocated for them to speak during the debate on the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya adjourned the Parliament till tomorrow (07).
