Macao relaxes travel alert on Sri Lanka

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Macao has relaxed the travel alert on Sri Lanka issued following the Easter Sunday attacks.

The Tourism Crisis Management Office of Macao said in a statement today that given that the situation in Sri Lanka has attenuated, the Tourism Crisis Management Office (GGCT) lowered the Travel Alert to Level 1.

Despite this, the GGCT alerts Macao residents who intend to travel to or are already in Sri Lanka to be aware and follow closely the development of the situation that might affect their personal safety there.

The GGCT says it will keep monitoring the latest developments of the situation.
